Brian Quist creates commercials and branded content films for companies that have something real to say. Known for bringing both intimacy and high energy to his sets, Quist builds long-term relationships with the celebrities and brands he works with. His campaigns with Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Tony Hawk, and Ashley Graham have become cultural touchstones in beauty, body positivity, and lifestyle.

Quist has been making films since he was thirteen. His first films were documentaries about marginalized communities, including a film shot in India and a feature about the anxiety and spectacle of Y2K.

In 2005, Quist moved to New York and found his way to Condé Nast as the publishing world was pushing hard into digital video. Working across the company’s flagship titles, he became the go-to director for the highest-profile celebrity work at Vogue, Allure, and Vanity Fair.

Quist continues to create documentaries and is developing a feature film set in the deep woods of the Pacific Northwest. Away from the camera, he restores historic homes around Los Angeles, where his fascination with small details and forgotten stories continues.
